Fall prevention involves a combination of interventions proven to be successful in reducing falls, these include: balance training and physical activity; medical management; environmental/home modifications; reducing environmental hazards and eliminating the fear of falling. The best strategies call on help from service providers, caregivers, doctors, loved ones and yourself. A combination of all interventions are the best way to prevent falls in the home and out in the community.
